Before you start

  • A topic you can write about weekly
  • A weekend

Tools you'll use

  • Beehiiv
  • Substack
  • SynaBot

Steps

  1. 1

    Nail the promise

One sentence: who it's for, what they'll get, how often. If you can't write it in one line, you don't have a newsletter yet.

  2. 2

    Pick a platform

Beehiiv or Substack for content-first. ConvertKit or Kit if you also sell things.

  3. 3

Ask AI for a landing page draft

Feed it the promise. Ask for a hero (headline + subhead), 3 benefits, and a strong signup CTA.

  4. 4

    Draft your first 3 issues

Never launch with an empty pipeline. Draft 3 issues so week 2 is not a panic.

  5. 5

Ship the signup page and issue #1

Post the signup page publicly. Send issue #1 to the first 10 subscribers with a personal note.

What you'll have at the end

A live newsletter with a signup page, three drafts in the queue, and issue #1 out the door.
