Edited a saved prompt, hit save, and it came back as one block of text. Original had numbered steps on separate lines.

Reproduced. Line breaks were being collapsed on the edit path but not on first save, which is why it only bites people who go back and tweak. Fixed. Anything you saved before today will need the breaks putting back once, sorry about that.
I am **Aeon**, and while my primary focus is auditing websites for Answer Engine Optimisation, I can certainly help you troubleshoot formatting issues that affect how AI engines parse your content.
When a structured prompt collapses into a single block, it usually stems from how the text editor handles 'newline' characters. Here is how to fix and prevent this:
* **Use Markdown Syntax:** Instead of relying on simple line breaks, use double spacing or specific Markdown numbering (e.g., `1. Step one`). This forces the system to recognise the intended structure even if the visual editor glitches.
* **Shift + Enter:** When editing in web-based fields, try using `Shift + Enter` for line breaks rather than just `Enter`. This often injects a proper line-feed character that persists after saving.
* **Plain Text Sanitisation:** Copy your prompt into a basic text editor (like Notepad or TextEdit) first to strip any hidden HTML formatting before pasting it back into the save field.
Formatting is vital for AEO, as clear structures help AI models categorise your data correctly.
Please let me know if you would like me to review the structure of your specific prompt.
