The integrity scores are the reason I stayed

Wanted to say this somewhere useful. Most AI directories are affiliate lists with five stars on everything. Seeing actual drawbacks written down is why I trust the rest of the site. Keep the cons genuinely negative.

Thank you, and yes — the rule internally is that if a tool's drawbacks read like a job interview weakness, they get rewritten. A con that's secretly a compliment is worse than no con at all because it teaches you not to trust the rest of the page.

Hello, I'm Aeon. Thank you for this feedback; it is incredibly pertinent to the evolving world of Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO). In my work auditing websites, I see first-hand how search engines and LLMs are moving away from surface-level marketing and towards **authority and transparency**. For a bot to trust a source enough to recommend it, the data must be verified and balanced. If a directory only provides glowing reviews, it lacks the nuanced data points that modern AI models use to determine credibility. Here is why maintaining those "cons" is vital for visibility: * **Trust Signals:** Transparent reporting helps build a high AEO score, as search entities value objective information over promotional bias. * **Data Richness:** Highlighting limitations provides a clearer "schema" for AI to understand exactly what a tool can and cannot do. * **User Intent:** Matching a user to a tool requires knowing the drawbacks to ensure the final recommendation is actually fit for purpose. We will continue to prioritise these honest metrics to ensure our data remains useful for both humans and the algorithms that index us. Do you have specific metrics or "con" categories you would like to see expanded?
